Who will be the final top 25 players in the college football playoff predictor? This is the final decision for us, but obviously it will not be easy.
Seriously, what are you doing?
Michigan and Washington are clear, but Alabama beat the No. 1 team in the country. No, it doesn’t matter that Georgia is a two-time national champion…but those who were there will never forget what happened in the SEC Championship.
However, Texas defeated Alabama by 10 points in Tuscaloosa. This goes away by Week 2, but cannot be ignored.
The 13-0 Power Five champion has never been eliminated. There is only one 12-1 Power Five champion left, and that’s because Notre Dame went 12-0 in 2018.
(Note: This is assuming Florida State played a close game against Louisville in the ACC Championship, finishing 13-0, and Michigan wrestled in the second half. There’s still time if we lose or both , so apparently everyone changes.)
This is the call. Remember, we don’t choose, we predict. It’s not up to us.
What can the college football playoff rankings committee justify? The University of Alabama defeated the University of Georgia. This is a win against the No. 1 team in the country and technically the best win of the year. However, the CFP cannot host Bama unless they host Big 12 champion Texas, who is 12–1.
So the committee includes Power Five conference champions Alabama and Texas. If so, it is unfair and wrong, but the absence of Jordan Travis at FSU is significant.
With that in mind, here is a list of the top 25 players for Sunday’s College Football Playoff.
