Dialogue between Judge and Azad
But Azad\’s mind was full of patriotism from childhood. At the age of 15, he was arrested in the non-cooperation movement. His conversation with the judge in the court became very famous and from here Azad was added to his name. He met the revolutionaries in Banaras.

Contact with revolutionaries

In 1922, when Gandhiji announced the end of the Non-Cooperation Movement, Azad was among the disillusioned youth across the country. He had been in contact with the revolutionaries. In such a situation, he met Ram Prasad Bismal. And Azad joined his Hindustan Prajatantra Sangh. In the beginning, Singh started the work of robbing the rich people who oppressed the poor for disorderly needs, but he soon gave up on this work.

Azad did not leave the principles.

Azad was a stickler for principles, while robbing people of money, a woman in the village snatched a pistol from Azad, but Azad did not raise a hand against this woman. Bismal himself snatched the pistol from this woman and freed Azad as well. Freed in the Kakuri and Lahaul scandals

The Kakuri Conspiracy was a major event in revolutionary history. After looting the treasure in the train, the police started arresting all the revolutionaries one by one, but Chandrasekhar Azad could not be caught. He was adept at changing abode. And it did not come into the hands of the British for a long time. Azad\’s popularity was revealed after his death when Purushottam Das Tandon and Kamala Nehru also attended his funeral. A large number of local people also attended his last rites. While the rest of the revolutionaries were captured by the British because of their dignity, Azad was seen to be afraid of them. The British also uprooted the tree under the cover of which they fought the British for the last time.
