New York: Ogilvy announced the appointment of Devika Bulchandnias as the Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In this role, she will be responsible for all aspects of the creative network’s business in 131 offices in 93 countries, including advertising, public relations, experience, consulting and health care.
She will also join the WPP Executive Committee when she assumes her new role.
Most recently, Bulchandanias served as the Global President and CEO of Ogilvy North America.
She is taking over from Andy Main, who is stepping down as global CEO and will serve as senior advisor until the end of the year.
Prior to joining Ogilvy, Bulchandnias spent 26 years at McCann in various leadership roles, including as President of McCann North America.
She was the driving force behind MasterCard’s long-running “Precious” campaign, as well as “Real Name”, a first of its kind feature launched in 2019 that allows transgender and non-binary people to sign up for their MasterCard. Allows to display the chosen name. , ,
