Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray Resigns: Uddhav said, I am talking from my heart. Chaiwala, hawkers and street vendors were also joined by Shiv Sena and carried forward. Now they grew up and forgot them and cheated us.
Mumbai: Uddhav Thackeray resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Wednesday even before the floor test. Along with this, the membership of the Legislative Council has also been given up. After the setback from the Supreme Court, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the public on Wednesday night through Facebook Live. The Supreme Court has ordered a floor test to be conducted on Thursday itself. Uddhav Thackeray in his address targeted the rebel Eknath Shinde faction. Thackeray said, the rickshaw–
walas, chaiwalas we made leaders, MLAs, they cheated us. We invited him to talk, but he did not return. He said, we have completed the work of farm loan waiver waiver. We have renamed Osmanabad as Dharashiv. We have renamed Aurangabad as Sambhajinagar. Uddhav Thackeray mentioned the names of Sharad Pawar and Sonia Gandhi. Uddhav Thackeray said, we do not want anything, just blessings. I do not regret leaving the post of CM.
Uddhav said, I am talking from my heart. Chaiwala, hawkers and street vendors were also joined by Shiv Sena and carried forward. Now he grew up and forgot those who raised him. After coming to power, he forgot all the things. Ever since I have come to Matoshree, people have come to me continuously. Those who were protesting at one time are with them, those who were together are in opposition. After coming to Matoshree, many people are coming and saying that you fight, we are with you. Those who gave are angry, those who did not give are with them. Uddhav Thackeray said, we did a good job, but it seems that we have caught someone’s eye. After coming to Matoshree, many people are coming and saying that you fight, we are with you. Those who were given are angry, those who are not given are with them. Maharashtra CM said, we respect the decision of the Supreme Court, we should follow the democracy. Instead of going to Surat, they should come here.
Uddhav Thackeray indicated at the end of the address that even though his government has fallen, Shiv Sena is ours and will remain ours. The political battle between the Thackeray and Shinde faction over Shiv Sena’s supremacy may drag on. Whether the decision of July 11 regarding the disqualification notice of 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs will now matter, it will also have to be seen. Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab has gone to Raj Bhavan with Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation letter.
