Dipika Kakar started her career as an air hostess in Mumbai, where she worked for three years before transitioning into television in 2010. She made her debut as Lakshmi in “Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi” and then appeared as Rekha Prasad in “Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo” the same year.

From 2011 to 2017, Kakar became widely known for her role as Simar Bhardwaj in Colors TV’s “Sasural Simar Ka.” In 2015, she showcased her dancing skills in the celebrity dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8.” Later, in 2017, she participated in Star Plus’s “Nach Baliye 8” alongside Shoaib Ibrahim. She also made appearances in “Entertainment Ki Raat” during this time.
