Juhi Parmar began her journey in Hindi television with Zee TV’s “Woh” in 1998. After a break, she returned in the early 2000s with Sony Entertainment Television’s “Choodiyan,” where she portrayed Meghna, a loving sister dealing with a tragic loss. In 2001, she appeared in the second season of “Rishtey” and ventured into Gujarati cinema with “Rangai Jaane Rangma.” Her Hindi cinema debut was in “Madhur Milan.”
Her big break came in 2002 when she secured the lead role in “Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan” opposite Hussain Kuwajerwala. Her portrayal of Kumkum became hugely popular, earning her the Best Actress (Critics) award at the Indian Telly Awards.
